There should be a .log file that should contain a error code. Also, are you using the x64 dxgi.dll? Perhaps even Nvidia Experience is the culprit.

Maybe someone here can help me out... I'm running Windows 8.1 and so far this seems to be one of the only games I can't get to work. I'm using Boulotaur2024's config through RadeonPro but it just doesn't seem to take. Has anyone been able to successfully get it working through that in 8.1?

i am also on Windows 8.1 and using RadeonPro but cannot get it to work for Evil Within. I have done everything correctly as I am using the same SweetFX folder for Watch Dogs and it is working correctly in WDs but not Evil Within. :(

Maybe i can help...i had the same problem with Resident Evil and Evil within..my fav preset wouldnt work with those games at all.. What i found out was some older presets loaded up no problems. SO try using a preset for an older 1.4 version..it should load even with 1.5.1 sweetfx. I tried Alan Wakes K-Put preset just for a test and it worked sadly its tooo dark for horror games so give it a go!!!
