Preset description:
For Reshade versions 4.6.1 and higher A simple preset that gives the game more colour and some much needed ambient occlusion since the in-game SSAO setting does almost nothing. No significant performance drop since reshade is almost entirely GPU based. Disable the MXAO if you're running the game on a CPU and you experience framedrops. Installation: 1) Download and launch Reshade (https://reshade.me/). When asked to choose the game executable, select mowas2.exe. Then choose the DX10/11/12 option. 2) Select SweetFX by CeeJay.dk and qUINT by Marty McFly packages 3) On the next step, select only the following shaders to install: Standard: I do not use any of the 'Standard' shaders, so you can uncheck all of them. SweetFX: Curves, Vibrance qUINT: qUINTlightroom, qUINTmxao 4) Download my preset and make sure to change the .txt extension to .ini (For newbies, you need to enable Windows File Extensions to do this. Google it, it's easy) 5) Paste the preset into your MoWAS2 folder (\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2) 6) Launch the game, open the in-game Reshade menu with the (Home) key and enable my preset 7) Go in the "DX11" tab and enable "Copy depth buffers before clear operation", like so: https://i.imgur.com/gi6DpoA.png In-game Settings: Optimally, have SSAO enabled. Without it the preset's MXAO's effect isn't that noticeable. [FAQ] Q1: Will I get banned for using this? A1: Nope, Reshade is not banned in this game. I've been using it for years. Q2: Which missions are the screenshots taken from? A2: These were taken from Wacht am Rhein Campaign made by steam user Oakleaf. His missions are mind-blowing! Check them out in his Steam workshop (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198016100109/myworkshopfiles?appid=244450) Q3: When I play multiplayer the preset looks different, what's up with that? A3: Usually whenever reshade detects high network activity, it disables depth buffers. What this means is that MXAO temporarily stops working. Rarely, mostly in co-op, reshade for some reason doesn't detect network activity so you may still get some matches where the preset works flawlessly. There is a modded version of Reshade that disables network detection, but I won't link it here. Find it on your own if you want but beware that you could risk getting flagged by the anti-cheat. Disclaimer: Reshade presets can look radically different depending on your monitor and calibration settings. Always keep this in mind when you come across a preset that looks either too saturated or too dark to you.

Hello. For depth buffer to be detected you need to go to the DX11 tab and select "Copy depth buffers before clear operation", here's a screenshot of what I mean: https://i.imgur.com/gi6DpoA.png

However in multiplayer and co-op Reshade usually disables depth buffer detection to avoid "cheating".
