This Reshade has been updated to compliment the Remastered/Ultra!
•Reduced lighting on remastered settings causing eye strain
•Defogged Red Base color by 0.005 to improve blue light to help players stay more alert while playing
•Better Gamma to compliment shadows and reduce brightness
•Changes in clarity.fx to help make darker areas a little more visible
•Changes in levels.fx to reduce amount of pure white and increase brightness in dark areas
•Removed smaa.fx because there are other options for AA such as nvidia and AMD control panel
1)Download Reshade from https://reshade.me/
2)Launch ReShade Setup and select BlackDesert64.exe at Game Directory Black Desert/bin64
3)Left Click Direct3d 10+ and check only these 4 effects:
•Then click Ok and exit the reshade setup
4)Download and place preset "SweetFX_Settings_Black Desert Online_Fantasy.txt"
at Game Directory Black Desert/bin64
5)Launch the game and press shift + F2
6)You will be greeted by red boxes and a tutorial, You may read the instructions if you so wish and proceed through it by clicking continue
7)Locate Home Tab on your menu, click the drop down arrow and select "SweetFX_Settings_Black Desert Online_Fantasy.txt"
8)Finally proceed to settings tab and add Shift + F12
on Effect Toggle key and set Usage Mode to Performance Mode
1)Navigate to Game Directory Black Desert/bin64 and remove the following files
•dxgi.ini file is removed in reshade v3.4
•Remove old Sweetfx Settings.txt or .ini
•Remove folder reshade-shaders
You can turn off BloomAndLensFlares.fx
if you are suffering from low framerates.
Anti-Alias Turn this off if you are using remastered. I highly suggest using your video card driver to force AA or FXAA
Display Filter I suggest choosing Depth of field over this unless you want to blur distant terrain.
Faraway Objects Yes
Depth of Field This now provides DOF during gameplay for remastered which is really neat
Faraway NPC Detail Optional
Hit Effects Optional
Remove Snow Build-Up Optional
Show Blood Optional
Show Blood on Screen Optional
Photo Filter set to "NONE"
Gamma and Contrast set to "0"
You may also try using your own settings but it is recommended to set as the above values before trying your own.
