Alright I looked over that preset and the creator is using a really old MER build. It's the third(I think) MER build that was released. Not only does it have terrible performance, it also had all the effects bunched into Reshade.FX I recommend downloading the most recent MER from here: http://reshade.me/forum/shaderpack-mastereffect/161-mastereffect-reborn-official-thread Copying all the effect values from that guys preset into this updated MER. You copy the values into Mastereffect.H Don't touch Reshade.FX at all with the updated MER. Not only will this yield you much better performance, you also get updated shaders, and a much better shader package (mastereffect.H is much cleaner than everything together in reshade.fx). Yeah that message means there is an error in Reshade.FX. It has nothing to do with you having C++ 2012 or whatever. I probably don't even have that and I have no problems. (then again i might if it comes with windows update)
