Preset description:
Cine80 - Dark Cinematic FX Installation Download and install ReShade: https://reshade.me When installing, select Jagged Alliance 3, DirectX 10/11/12 (since it uses DirectX 12), and the following shaders (feel free to select more, but my presets use these): SweetFX by CeeJay.dk SHADERDECK by TreyM The Anagrama Collection by nullfractal reshade-shaders by Barbatos Once installed, download the Cine80 preset, then copy/paste the Cine80 preset to your game directory. It is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jagged Alliance 3 Notes The DS version is a desaturated and grittier version of the respective preset. In the game settings, leave the brightness at the default setting. Also, make sure Chromatic Abberation is ON and Vignette is OFF (since this preset applies vignette already). Performance impact: None/minimal (I have not noticed any noticeable performance/FPS drop myself). Description My ReShade preset collection going for that vintage 80s cinematic vibe. It uses effects from the original SweetFX shader collection by CeeJayDK and Crosire, along with BaBa shaders by BarbatosBachiko, the Anagrama Collection by nullfrctl, and the Shaderdeck film emulation suite by TreyM. The focus is on ease of customization and preserving the original feel of the game, while giving it a retro, cinematic, dark, and gritty style reminiscent of 80s movies. I went for a military/camouflage style that emphasizes the dense, harsh jungle and savannah landscapes. Only the top-level variables are being customized in this preset, so you can easily customize the settings to your personal preferences. If you find the film grain a little too much, just edit the last effect, FilmGrain.fx, or you can also disable it altogether, since Filmdeck.fx is already adding some subtle film grain. I just prefer the extra gritty film grain from the stock FilmGrain.fx effect on top of it. Recommended Mods Nocturnal Beauty https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3274783005 Makes nights actually dark and look gorgeous while at it. All the palettes from that mod work great with my presets. My recommendation is the Abyss of Darkness (Strong) palette. Surray's AI Generated Portrait Replacements https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3013201255 Alternative merc portraits for vanilla mercs and IMPs. Better Zoom Mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3009240664 Modifies the minimum and maximum zoom levels. Reduce Repetitive Voice Response https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3341315056 Modifies voice response probabilities and cooldown multipliers on Select and Move for less repetition. Improved UI Font https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3345229382 Condensed font for an improved visibility/readability of the user interface. Credits CeeJayDK, Crosire, BarbatosBachiko, nullfrctl, TreyM Haemimont Games and THQ Nordic for this awesome game
