SunBroFX 2.1

Created by SunBroDave
Added June 4, 2015

Shader used: SweetFX 2.0
Preset description:
This a preset for the ReShade Framework, a combination of SweetFX by CeeJay.dk MasterEffect by Marty McFly GemFX by LuciferHawk (aka the Post-Processing Avengers of the ReShade Cinematic Universe) Because the preset settings are spread across multiple files, I've bundled the entire thing into a .rar that you can download from http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/152/? To install, just copy all of the files from the 'SunBroFX 2.1' folder into the x64 folder of The Witcher 3. Enjoy! -SunBroDave/Wask

@agsultana
The files up on nexus are up to date and correct. Might be something on your end, but a fix for both the darkness/performance would be to disable the following effects:
USE_AMBIENTOCCLUSION
AMBIENT_LIGHT
BLOOM
SMAA
HDR
DITHER

Hey man when I loaded the updated file from Nexus 1) seems to be a big performance hit now, and 2) it's really dark. What's happening there now? Just using the sweetfx settings seemed to work really well.

Added a zipped folder to the Nexus page, so all you have to do is copy and paste the contents of the SunBroFX 2.0 folder into the x64 folder of The Witcher 3.

I wish I could use this one..but why are all the files stored in one file..the instructions are confusing to someone used to using only SweetFX.

I copied the appropriate sections over each file but it throws some error.

I may be a little dumb, but your install instructions could be clearer. Why is it necessary to download the Reshade "framework" instead of the Reshade + SweetFX package?

Would it be too much trouble to provide a bundled install we can just copy to the x64 folder, please?

This preset is THE BEST! It's like a new game! Heaps better than the other omg vgx e3 preset bro haha! They were on the right track but this actually got there, well done.

PS. can't endorse it on Nexus, is it because you don't have the file on there?

Cheers.

Great preset for when the game is in the morning or afternoon, but at night or in dark places, it's not so great, it's barely visible and my eyes starts feeling weird.

Perfect, game is back to the 50 FPS area. Thanks again SunBroDave.

@Captain_Freedom
Thanks for checking out the preset and leaving feedback. Here's a list of more demanding effects to turn off if you want more FPS:

From SweetFX:
SMAA
LUMASHARPEN
DITHER

From McFX:
USE_AMBIENTOCCLUSION

From GemFX:
AMBIENT_LIGHT
BLOOM

Kind of tired of the old vanilla look, this one fits in really nice.

Hey SunBroDave, really liking this preset. I have a problem, im running this on a gtx 550ti, fortunately I'm able to run this on 50ish fps on low settings. Is there a way you can create a lite version? One which keeps all the colors and shades minus all the other features that would require more gpu power? Or is the color and shades, a part of that gpu power eating equation? Yes i know, im buying a new graphics card soon (i hope).

Go for it, and thanks!

Good to see you posting a preset here.

Also great idea with linking all three config files in the settings.txt!

Hope you don't mind me doing the same; it's a really good idea.

Oh and I like it.
