Preset description:
Hello, this is the first preset I've posted publicly, I highly recommend you run this preset with Hook64 to remove fog. It's not necessary, but it looks a lot better with it. I also recommend that you put your in-game gamma slider to the max with this preset as well. This preset is designed to make ESO's color palette more realistic, and believable by increasing contrast ratio, significant desaturation, and minor color correction tweaks (of course these are subject to variances caused by people using different monitors). At the same time, I heavily use bloom effects to saturate brighter areas, while leaving dark areas untouched. This results in a much wider color gamut, and makes the game feel like one of those heavily edited game montages. This has the added effect of ambient lighting, and helps in giving the illusion of depth. My general idea with this preset is to make bright things brighter, and dark things darker. Pros +More realistic terrain, and significant increase in detail across the board +More believable color palette +Simulated depth and ambient lighting through bloom Cons -Some faces are a little too dark, and details may be missed (worst with dark elves) -Nighttime is dark, but the colors aren't representative of actual darkness (Can't really work with this much, as the game has way too much ambient lighting at night) -Although rare, combat may be too dark in some areas, and some cues may be missed -While most colors are made more believable, some colors and shades look a lot less believable, and are either too bright or dark. Summary I hope you like this preset, it's certainly not perfect, but there really are some incredibly beautiful sights with it, and every area I've come across, I've always found an area that I had to screenshot. If the effects are too strong for you, adjust it to your liking, or use a different preset, as this one certainly isn't for everyone. But for those who wanted an ESO that made every area have that dark, gritty atmosphere, this should definitely be something you try.
