Great preset! Just like always :P

Apologies, it was me who had not recovered the latest version of SweetFX.

There is an error in the preset. In the parameters "curves", in "#define Curves_formula" the value "13" is incorrect, it can not go above "10".

It looks like this game has compatibility issues with sweetFX if using Win 8.1 64x (I have an AMD Card).

The only workaround I've found is using EFX + SweetFX

K-putt
28 Sep 09:58 CEST

No. Should still work though. Since this game uses DX9. That always worked on Win8.1.

Drogean
27 Sep 22:11 CEST

Kputt are you on win 8.1?

K-putt
26 Sep 18:09 CEST

Nope, looks fine here.

Now I have another (most likely unrelated) problem... Have you experienced any issues with screen tearing since using SweetFX? It seems as if all forms of vsync just aren't preventing these damn annoying frame tears :'(

K-putt

Glad you figured it out. =P

Nevermind, I'm a moron.

For some reason I don't think I'm seeing the same colouration changes as these screenshots... When I flip sweetfx on and off the only thing I can notice is sharpness.

Raztaman
26 Sep 16:36 CEST

Ahhhhh okay then thanks, I'll stop using it with RP. Was under the impression that was the only way to get sweetfx to work with this game, but clearly that was MSI. Cheers.

K-putt
26 Sep 16:11 CEST

It shouldn't be dark at all. It should look just like on the pictures. I also didn't change the brightness in this setting. Are you using RadeonPro? Because that would explain why the image is so dark. It doesn't really support Boulotaurs injector.

Raztaman
26 Sep 16:07 CEST

Ahhh MSI afterburner was the problem! I use it to force my GPU fans to 100% because one of them doesn't even move unless I do so. Thanks for the help man, again your presets are as beautiful as always. Just one question, the main menu is supposed to be that dark, right?

K-putt
26 Sep 15:53 CEST

I had to disable MSI afterburner for starts. Or else the game just wouldn't start. Also, you want the x64 d3d9.dll since this is a x64 game. Should also still work on Win 8.1 because it's a DX9 game.

Use the injector linked in my description.

Raztaman
26 Sep 15:49 CEST

Sorry I should say can I get help getting it to work with this game. I've used SweetFX plenty of times, but Vanishing of Ethan Carter seems to not like it, with or without radeonpro...

Nice one mate. Can I ask for some help in getting SweetFX to work in general? I'm having some problems but not sure why...

K-putt
26 Sep 15:42 CEST

I will probably change the bloom a bit soon. But for now it looks good enough.
