Hi! Does anyone have this preset https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3161/ by Vlidus for Sleeping Dogs definitive edition? The link is dead and I want it bad! Alternatively could somebody help and instruct me, how to get it working from the preset txt -file. Tried few things, but I'm quite noob with this and would appreciate the help! Can't really continue playing SD, 'cause everytime I see it, I think it could look like this. Thanks in advance! I use Win 7 64bit.

Well if the preset that you want is using reshade, it's most likely Reshade 3.0. Install by going to reshade.me, downloading the 3.0 version, clicking the exe file, finding the exe file for Sleeping Dogs (if you got it from steam the game folder should be in Steam\steamapps\common), and clicking Direct3D 10 (this is for DirectX 10 and over). Then when it asks you if you want to download the shaders click "Yes" and leave all of them checked. That's for installing reshade. To install the preset: go on the download page, click download preset, rename from "SweetFX_Settings_Sleeping Dogs- Definitive _Better Sleeping Dogs - Ultra Realism.txt" to "SweetFX_Settings_Sleeping Dogs- Definitive _Better Sleeping Dogs - Ultra Realism.ini", and move the file in your game folder. This will work for almost any game with almost any reshade preset. You will just have to choose options for that game (so if the game is DirectX 8 or 9, you would choose Direct3D 8/9). If you didn't understand how to install Reshade just watch this (https://youtu.be/cF5jlnUQxWY) video until 1:09. Everything after 1:09 is irrelevant since you want to install a preset, not create one.

Hi! Got the Realistic atmosphere preset working somehow with reshade 1.1.0 but dunno where to put the mcdirt, mclut & mcnoise.png files?

I don't really mess around with versions other than 3.0 but i'm pretty sure that those go into the \Reshade\Effects folder (if there is one).
