When I posted this you couldn't use Vulkan officially yet. Else I would made a preset with reshade, dho :)
Guys, I was able to get it to work by copying the EXE to Base then installing reshade 4.6 to the base folder... even have RTGI working. Looks fantastic!
@Fan4eG
Please Change The Text.(ReShade Doesnt WORK in W2: TNC). Reshade now works in Vulkan
C'mon people! Newest Reshade supports Vulkan. You can now make presets for this game!
Example correction. I might overdone blue a tiny tiny bit, but still. Tint is gone. https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/screenshot/69768/full/
phroZac: Disagree, It had this typica yellow green tint that many devs prefer to use. I think it's on purpose to see things more clear, but it's less immersive and not right colorbalance. The game need ca 5% less green and 5% blue (approx to look color correct)
I'm having problems with crashes when using nvidia freestyle.Seems to work in windows mode. When I enable my preset all is okay, but trying to alt+enter to full screen (same in settings) it simply crashes. Unable to write crashdump is the problem. All was working fine first time I played, suddenly its a FUCKING crashfest. Going with my monitor buldt in presets as a third solution for now, but aint the same kinda. Hope anyone know what fucking setting in the game or driver causing this so we can at least enjoy freestyle in this game. What do you others do to make it run smooth?.
Made a alternative preset for Nvidia Freestyle. Check it out those that really want a fix. Hope you like https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/9842/
If r_renderapi 0 really sets OpenGL renderer instead of Vulcan, then Reshade/SweetFX suppose to work. Just install libraries via ReShade Setup.exe as OpenGL. Originally game is not shipped with Opengl library.
If it works, I don't know. Let us know.
Eh, it's just as well, as I don't think this game needs any image enhancement anyway. It looks amazing.
Not a chance bro,This game is using vulkan api not directx.I hope reshade will support vulkan too haha..
You can switch to opengl with r_renderapi 0, and rename GameOverlayRenderer64.dll to enable overlays in game. Sadly doesn't make reshade work
Wolfenstein 2 uses a new Vulkan API and therefore reshade (of any version) will not work. Sadly I don't think this will be solved however, the game has a sharpening option which has somewhat negated the need for reshade.
I try SweetFX 2, Reshade 3 but nope, not working. :(
