Sacred Valiance
Preset description:
Sacred Valiance for Jade Empire improves color, shadows, and light; elevating atmosphere. This preset uses only one shader “MultiLUT.fx”. If one needs help installing the Lut file that correlates to this shader, instructions can be found here.

Areas without light such as caves can get pretty dark, players may or may not like this; if one thinks the darkness is too overbearing, lower the values under Multi Lut (Lut chroma amount, Lut luma amount). A few examples for reference.

I humbly think the darkness in some areas without many light sources adds more realism enhancing the overall experience of Jade Empire; yet some might not share this sentiment so adjust values of the Multi Lut accordingly.
The advanced lighting and color of this preset helps bring out more details in character models, particularly faces. This also is true with the environment; both indoor and outdoor.

A minor drawback concerning more details with faces, models can and will look better yet it can reveal neck seams or that the color tone of the face is different than the neck/body. This is not every character model but is an issue with some npcs.
In closing, Sacred Valiance breaths new life to this unique game. A Martial Arts RPG, extremely original concept. It really stands out from other Bioware titles; a real shame it never got a sequel. In my humble opinion even though I adore select games from the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series, I would significantly prefer to play and be immersed in a Jade Empire 2 title versus Mass Effect 5 and Dragon Age 4 titles; but I digress.
-peace out
