Preset description:
This is not for reuse or incorporation into other ReShades. Please make your own, this took me almost a month to make. Thanks. Please view the pics in fullscreen mode to see all the details and changes (click it again after the pics load once). Thanks!
Update 1.3 released 2/2/2018 - Important adjustment to lenz flare effect (was triggering too often and too easily), DoF tweaks. Update 1.2 released 1/29/2018 - Additional close and distant DoF tweaks, bloom and lens-dirt tweaks. Update 1.1 released 1/29/2018 - fixed some brightness issues (please note the new recommended game brightness, contrast, and gamma values) and sharpened image a little more. Added toggle for GuassianBlur to soften the image, if you find it too sharp. Press 9 on the numberpad to toggle GussianBlur on. Increased bloom, tweaked super-close and horizon DoF.

CRITICAL INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!! 1) Once you've downloaded this, you MUST go to the in game Reshade "Settings" tab and make sure "RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1", make sure "RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_LOGARITHMIC=1", AND make sure "RESHADE_DEPTH_LINEARIZATION_FAR_PLANE=10000.0" (without the quotes, of course) and then go back to the main "Home" reshade menu tab and click "reload" at the bottom of that reshade menu. Failure to do this will render your entire screen 100% blurry while Depth-of-Field (DoF) is on. 2) After installing this reshade, you need to go to the dropbox link below and download the "reshade-shaders" folder and copy-paste-overwrite the folder in your main Ghost Recon Wildlands' folder, where the game's .exe files are: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5kaover0znlpb72/AADGBMVg8ydYQPlSRBQBDaTua?dl=0 3) Go to the game's HUD menu and change "HUD AND UI SCALING" to the smallest size possible. This is necessary if you're using the cinematic camera I added, otherwise some UI elements may be hidden from view. 4) If you follow all these steps but are getting insane blur where like literally half your screen is completely blurred out, try disabling tiltshift, as it doesn't scale properly on some peoples' monitors, it seems.
DoF: To adjust the strength of the strong DoF that only activates when looking at objects relatively close to the player/camera, adjust DOF_FarBlurCurve setting under the "DoF" section up or down. Increasing the value will give less blur. To adjust get rid of the DoF on you character when looking at very distant objects (the horizon), disable the "LightDoF" setting. I set the hotkey to "1" on the numberpad. Cinematic Camera: If you don't like the closer, more cinematic camera, disable the FisheyeHorizontal effect. I've set the toggle key to "2" on the numberpad.
CONTROLS All of these are remappable once in game. (make sure numberpad is enabled or the controls won't work) -Toggle ReShade menu on-off - Shift+F2. -Toggle all ReShade effects - Scroll lock -Toggle strong depth-of-field - / on numberpad -Toggle soft DoF on player and horizon - 1 on numberpad -Toggle sharpness - 5 on numberpad -Toggle film grain - 3 on numberpad -Black bars - 0 on numberpad -Bloom and lens effects - 6 on numberpad -Vignette - * on numberpad -Toggle the stronger blur on player character and vehicles towards bottom of the screen (tiltshift) - 8 on numberpad -Toggle cinematic (closer) - 2 on numberpad -Toggle image softening effect (off by default) - 9 on numberpad I recommend opening the ReShade GUI's setting's menu changing the following: Toggle ReShade on and off with the END key Toggle ReShade menu/gui with F1
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
!!!IMPORTANT For me the game crashes if I use any form of ReShade or SweetFx in fullscreen mode. So you must enable borderless window mode to use ReShade if yours also crashes when trying to load the game with Reshade enabled. Optimized for 62 brightness, 62 contrast, 56 gamma, 0 sharpening in the game's video options menu. Optimized for vanilla FOV setting. Turn in-game bloom on and set Godrays to on (but not enhanced) to achieve the same looks as me. IMPORTANT END!!!
Abridged Version of instructions: Download latest version of ReShade from here: https://reshade.me/ Run the .exe in admin mode and select GRW.exe in your Ghost Recon Wildlands main folder. Choose DirectX 8/9 Say yes when it ask if you want to download a collection of shaders. Have these following shaders selected and deselect any of the effects not listed here: AdaptiveSharpen LightDoF Border Clarity FakeHDR Tonemap Deband Technicolor2 FilmGrain DOF (depth of field) BloomAndLensFlares Vignette Tiltshift LiftGammaGain GuassianBlur AmbientLight Now download my preset here with the "download" button below. Rename that file "anythingyouwant.ini", the most important part is that the files name now ends ".ini" instead of ".txt" like it did when you downloaded it. Put that file in your game's main folder where you found GRW.exe and where your reshade-shaders folder should now also be installed. Run your game and after you get a message in a grey box saying reshade effects have loaded, press Shift+F2 simultaneously to open the in-game ReShade GUI. Select the .ini file from that drop down menu. Toggle the effect with scroll-lock key. You can change these keys in the ReShade's settings menu. Click continue until the boxes go from red to gray/clear. Done. Your new ReShade should be making your game look fapping sexy by this point.
Step-by-Step of Install Instructions: 1. Download the Reshade 3.1.1 (or a later version) from here https://reshade.me/ 2. Scroll to bottom of page and download whatever the latest version advertised is. Run the .exe that you just downloaded. Probably best to copy it to your desktop or someone first outside your downloads folder. Follow the steps it tells you selecting yes everything it asks. 2. Select your "GRW.exe" which is in the main folder of the game. 3. Select the DirectX 8/9 version after you select the "GRW.exe." 4. Run your game As your game loads up, you should see a grey box popup in the top of the screen saying it's loading all the reshade effects. Once it's done, hit "shift+F2" and follow the promps. The most important thing is to hit the plus symbol next near the top of the Reshade GUI and type any name you want. Follow the other prompts until the boxes turn from red to black or grey or whatever indicates you're done with the very short tutorial. You can leave your game open or close it for this next step. 5. Go back to your game's main folder, where the "GRW.exe" is and look for that file you just created with whatever name you gave. It should be a .ini file. 6. Open the .ini file and replace all the text with the text from my preset on this page. Save the file. Run your game or alt tab back to it. And then do step 7 if you your game is still running. 7. Reopen the Reshade GUI with Shift+f2 and click the click "reload". The new effects should start loading with my custom settings. PROFIT!
UNINSTALLING 1. Delete the Reshade-shaders folder, dxgi.ini, dxgi.dll, and dxgi.log from your game folder. That's it. Hope you enjoy, leave comments below if you're having trouble installing or better yet youtube a Resahde 3.0+ install guide. It's extremely easy. You may notice a slight decrease in performance, but it should still be pretty similar FPS to what you usually get. The visual difference is night and day to me and I can't ever go back to vanilla.

Try an older version of reshade. I've got those errors before too, it is always caused by the version of the ReShade framework I'm using being newer than what Ubisoft's anticheat software has been updated to flag as ok yet.

Try version 3.0.8 first and see if that works. If it does, try the newer versions up to 3.4.0. Hope this helps! If all else fails just delete the ReShade files and your game will launch again no problem.

OK, seems the issue was that somehow I had two different versions of the HDR shader installed and both were activated at the same time, drastically increasing my brightness values and screwing up the bloom and lens flares accordingly. To avoid the possibility of this happening to you, be sure to always completely delete all your old reshade files and folders before every new install of reshade. It's very unlikely anything like this would happen to an average reshade user, so really nothing to worry about folks. Cheers.

WTF. Just came back to this game after having it uninstalled for some months after finishing this reshade for Year 2 content and wow, my settings look all screwed up out of nowhere. I feel like this happened to me before, but I thought it was just my presets were bad, but nope, something funky is going on with how this game gets updated or something as my settings are exactly the same, yet my screen is white-hot as and the lens flares (THE LENS FLARES I TOOK LITERAL DAYS TO CONFIGURE WITH .000001 LEVEL TWEAKS) are completely freaking broken. I wonder if you all are experiencing the same thing. Guess it's back to square one for me, would love to know if the reshade looks like as intended for you all. If you install with all the settings I mention, it SHOULD look exactly like my pics and videos. Want to bang my head on the desk a little bit. Going to try to reinstall the reshade framework and hope to God that magically fixes everything, but my expectations are 0 at this point. Sorry if this is happening to anyone else, I've no idea why or how it could happen other than Ubi changing what the brightness, contrast, and gamma values are during updates. Don't want to accuse them of that though since I have no idea if they've done that or if the issue lies elsewhere.

Thanks for the reply Assasin. YEs. I could maybe change dof, that would save alot just by itself. Hopefully I can afford to upgrade my rig soon, so then I wont have to worry to much about those things :D For now I go with mid range eyecandy. ;)

Hey AziD,

Thanks! You can disable the Tiltshift and Fisheye already in this preset with the hotkeys I've set up. Make sure your numberpad is enabled and then press 8 on the numberpad to disable tiltshift and press 2 on the numberpad to disable fisheye.

As to a performance version, perhaps I could try one day. Though I don't know what I'd disable. I mean it'd be the same just with certain shaders disabled, I guess, which you can do pretty easy. I would disable the main DoF, which is Matso DoF first. Then disable Adaptive Sharpen and use a different sharpening from resahde or the game's awful looking built-in shaprening. GuassianBlur. I wouldn't go much beyond that. Guess you could do the lightdof too, but i would really try to leave both guassianblur on and lightdof.
