Vision Thing: MXAO+SM/FXAA+Sharpeningv2
Made using ReShade 3.2.2 First four screenshots will always be from newest version. UPDATED Version 2 release notes: Added Adaptive Sharpening, tweaked MXAO, SM/FXAA. Effects used: MXAO SMAA FXAA LumaSharpen AdaptiveSharpen My first ReShade preset. I decided to stick with keeping the overall vanilla look intact while adding things that would only things that would objectively improve the visuals. MXAO was an obvious candidate here and I managed to get it to my liking after a bit of tweaking, the effect is subtle but definitely noticable and contributes to helping the lighting look far less "blown out" from my perspective. Most users playing at 1080p or below should keep this at "Medium," as my implementation benefits very little from higher settings. If you're playing at a higher res and want (slightly) more precision in the AO or just want to go overkill, go right ahead. SM/FXAA: Pretty typical implementation of these effects from everything I've gathered. I didn't use any of the subpixel stuff from FX so there should be no additional blur. LumaSharpen: Increased as much as I could without artifacting occurring in the fog. Screens captured with 16xAF forced in Nvidia control panel, in game brightness at default and in game AA/Motion Blur disabled. Let me know what you think!
