The preset on (with CRT toggled off) with in game 640x480 and scaled up using the Borderless Gaming program to 1280x960 (see info on preset page for link) compared to the game running stock 1280x960 (This is not recommended as the game uses a bilinear filter to upscale from 640x480 and the image is slightly blurred.) You can see the preset is brighter with deeper blacks, less blurry while also providing AA (look at the rocks near Ky's feet or the shadow line on Dizzy's tights).
