Dovahkiin Rising for Dolomite Weathers

Preset description:
Dovahkiin Rising was crafted to make Skyrim look crisper, brighter, bolder and more natural while also adding a host of optional cinematic effects. It enhances light sources, enhance all existing texture detail, makes metal and water shine more and brings the cold climate to life that is always referenced in Skyrim's lore. Magic will gives off extra lighting effects in many conditions now and look more powerful and, well, magical. Dovahkiin Rising features tons of customization with optional features. (hint: press "4" and "6", not on the numberpad, to disable basically all extra lighting/fantasy-type features for an extremely realistic look). This mod was created for use with the excellent Dolomite Weathers mod, by Dr. Mega and Kojak. Interiors made around ELFX, but should work fine with Vanilla interiors. I plan to create a Vivid Weathers version in time, but how quickly I do it will depend on how easy it is to optimize things and if anyone lets me know they actually care (so let me know in the comments section, please). This is ice cold. Essential: For Dolomite Weathers users, it is essential that you use the Dolomite.ini optional file (called "Recommended ini Settings") on the Dolomite page. Then go to your data folder and open the Dolomite.ini and change value for "fGlobalContrastBoost=0" to "fGlobalContrastBoost=-.3" Everything will be way too bright if you don't do this and you will be blinded. STRONGLY RECOMMEND DELETING THE CAMERA SECTION IN THE DOLOIMITE.INI. When the UI or menu is blurry, it's caused by one of the depth of fields. If it bothers you a lot, you can either look into sky before pausing the game or going into a menu or press one of the two hotkeys below to disable the DoF while in the menu and reactivate upon exiting the menu. This can't be fixed because of how ReShade works. It's either have no depth of field or have a few minor inconveniences from time to time. CONTROLS: (numberpad must be enabled for numberpad controls to work. All are remappable with in-game ReShde menu) Toggle mod - "scroll-lock" Toggle ReShade menu - "shift+F2" Toggle close-range Depth of Field - "/" on numberpad Toggle long-range Depth of Field - "9" not on numberpad Toggle Film Grain - "3" not on numberpad Toggle Sharpness - "5" not on numberpad Toggle Bloom (the white flares and glows on shiny weapons) - "6" not on numberpad Toggle Cineamtic Black Bars - "0" not on numberpad Toggle Lens dirt and some added lighting effects - "4" not on numberpad Toggle a darkening effect - "9" on the numberpad Toggle Vignette - "*" on numberpad Toggle (off by default) Ultra Brightener (for unforeseen dark situations) - "+" on numberpad INSTALLING 1. Download the Reshade 3.0.6 from here https://reshade.me/ 2. Scroll to bottom of page and download whatever the latest version advertised is. Run the .exe that you just downloaded. Probably best to copy it to your desktop or somewhere else first outside your downloads folder. Follow the steps it tells you selecting yes everything it asks. 3. Select your "SkyrimSE.exe" which is in the main folder of the game. Probably in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition 4. Select the DirectX 10+ version after you select the "SkyrimSE.exe." 5. Run your game As your game loads up, you should see a grey box popup in the top of the screen saying it's loading all the reshade effects. Once it's done, hit "shift+F2" and follow the promps. The most important thing is to hit the plus symbol next near the top of the Reshade GUI and type any name you want. Follow the other prompts until the boxes turn from red to black or grey or whatever indicates you're done with the very short tutorial. You can leave your game open or close it for this next step. 6. Go back to your game's main folder, where the "SkyrimSE.exe" is and look for that file you just created with whatever name you gave. It should be a .ini file. 7. Open the .ini file and replace all the text with the text from my preset on this page. Save the file. Run your game or alt tab back to it. And then do step 7 if you your game is still running. 8. Reopen the Reshade GUI with Shift+f2 and click the click "reload". The new effects should start loading with my custom settings. 9. PROFIT! UNINSTALLING 1. Delete the Reshade folder, dxgi.ini, dxgi.dll, and dxgi.log and MercsDovahkiinRising.ini files from your game folder. That's it. You may notice a slight decrease in performance, but it should still be pretty similar FPS to what you usually get. The visual difference is night and day to me and I can't ever go back to vanilla.
