E3 2015 Graphics w/Advanced DoF [V 1.3]

Preset description:
HALT! Please check out my newest preset first. I dare say its my best. This one is still great, though, but yea: https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/8877/ Version 1.3 adds optional bloom (on by default. Press 6 on numberpad to toggle it on and off). Tweaked film grain, adds vignette, tweaks Depth of Field again, reduces instances of banding in the sky. Hope you like it. May want to disable bloom in snow, try it first. Version 1.2 tweaks depth of field. Version 1.1 brings stronger blues for more realistic sky and water tones. Increased ambient light for greater cinematic effect (optional; see controls section) and tweaked film grain for added cinematic atmosphere (also optional). Fixed very-bright light from sun in certain, rare lighting conditions.Fixed odd nighttime grain/smug. This preset tries to stylistically achieve a look similar to the E3 2015 Ghost Recon Wildlands trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tqz0q2BKl-U This mod greatly enhances all light sources, reduces washed-out vanilla look, enhances all existing texture detail, increases reflectiveness of wet materials and objects including lakes, puddles, streams, makes metal and plastic more shinier. If you've tried my previous GRW ReShades, they were too dark overall and especially at night. I've fixed that in this one while while also fixing the overly-bright spots in the sky from the sun. I've also fixed previous issues where the distance looked washed out in certain weather/lighting conditions. Dedicated to user yohozheng12, who asked me if I could create a E3 2015 ReShade about a month ago. Took me a while to understand what I was doing, but here's my first crack at getting close. I have more to do to make it more similar to the trailer. CONTROLS All of these are remappable once in game. -Toggle ReShade menu on-off - Shift+F2. -Toggle all ReShade effects - Scroll lock -Toggle depth-of-field - / on numberpad -Toggle sharpness - 5 on numberpad (make sure numberpad is enabled or the controls won't work) -Toggle film grain - 3 on numberpad -Black bars - 0 on numberpad Bloom (light glow) - 6 on numberpad I recommend opening the ReShade GUI and changing these settings to the following: Toggle ReShade on and off with the END key INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: !!!IMPORTANT For me the game crashes if I use any form of ReShade or SweetFx in fullscreen mode. So you must enable borderless window mode to use ReShade if yours also crashes when trying to load the game with Reshade enabled. Recommend setting in-game sharpening in Video options menu to 0 percent. Raise brightness to 56 and lower contrast to 43. Gamma 56. You can play around with these values to tweak the visibility of night and such to your preference. Try with in-game bloom on and off depending on taste. All my ReShades are tuned for in-game enhanced god rays off and regular god-rays on. IMPORTANT END!!! Recommend setting in-game sharpening in Video options menu to 0 percent. Raise brightness to 56 and lower contrast to 43. Gamma 56. You can play around with these values to tweak the visibility of night and such to your preference. 1. Download the Reshade 3.0.6 from here https://reshade.me/ 2. Scroll to bottom of page and download whatever the latest version advertised is. Run the .exe that you just downloaded. Probably best to copy it to your desktop or someone first outside your downloads folder. Follow the steps it tells you selecting yes everything it asks. 2. Select your "GRW.exe" which is in the main folder of the game. For steam it's usually: "...Steam\SteamApps\common\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" 3. Select the DirectX 8/9 version after you select the "GRW.exe." 4. Run your game As your game loads up, you should see a grey box popup in the top of the screen saying it's loading all the reshade effects. Once it's done, hit "shift+F2" and follow the promps. The most important thing is to hit the plus symbol next near the top of the Reshade GUI and type any name you want. Follow the other prompts until the boxes turn from red to black or grey or whatever indicates you're done with the very short tutorial. You can leave your game open or close it for this next step. 5. Go back to your game's main folder, where the "GRW.exe" is and look for that file you just created with whatever name you gave. It should be a .ini file. 6. Open the .ini file and replace all the text with the text from my preset on this page. Save the file. Run your game or alt tab back to it. And then do step 7 if you your game is still running. 7. Reopen the Reshade GUI with Shift+f2 and click the click "reload". The new effects should start loading with my custom settings. PROFIT!
Adjusting the Depth of Field (blur): To change the focal point and push it away from character and vehicle, etc., change the second Auto focus value under DOF from 460 to something like 450. Adjust this value downwards in increments of 10 till you're happy. Change DOF_blurradius from 60.00 to 50 or 40 to reduce blur when in vehicles especially. Of course all blur will be lessened, but hey, everything is a tradeoff in life.
UNINSTALLING 1. Delete the Reshade folder, dxgi.ini, dxgi.dll, and dxgi.log from your game folder. That's it. You may notice a slight decrease in performance, but it should still be pretty similar FPS to what you usually get. The visual difference is night and day to me and I can't ever go back to vanilla. Hey aSakofDonuts,

I would recommend disabling the Uplay interface anyway as some have said it causes issues with ReShade.

Hey RedOhmic,

You have to download the file from this page here and rename it whatever you want but most important change the ".txt" to ".ini" and put that in your main folder. That's the settings file that has all the tweaks to give you my look.

make sure to install reshade 3.0.6 had to download from elsewhere couldn't find on thier site.

it also didn't create the ini for me, i had to manually create it. i also had to restart the game for it to work properly. also make sure to download all the extra presets it asks when installing reshade. should work then. i switched the shift+f2 to shift+f3 so doesn't interfere with uplay overlay and set enable toggle to Insert.
