Preset description:
-- Dirt 4 version: Cinematic Racing Project, Dirt 4 Edition - https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/7333/ -- Cinematic Racing Project brings tons of cinematic effects and lighting to the track. It also removes that freaking yellow tint that was driving me nuts. I plan to release something similar for Dirt 4 once it's released on PC. My pics actually have captions that will help you understand different effects. Please read them. Last 4 pics from version 1.0, btw, all others from Version 1.1. Version 1.1 brings countless changes both small and large. Most importantly, I've tweaked values and added features to more appropriately deal with the blinding snow. Part of this is Codemasters fault for making certain patches of snow so bright in the first place, but I added a toggle key to be used in snowy conditions that dims the screen brightness using technicolor. Version 1.1 also adds new lighting effects that can be turned off by disabling the bloom. Again, the bloom is on a toggle key. I added I added a makeshift helmet for first person view, toggleable, of course. Oh, exhaust burps are now very exciting ;) Numerous smaller changes and optimizations. Users upgrading to 1.1 need to reinstall ReShade 3.0.7 and choose all the effects listed below for all the toggles and features to work. This includes the new snow dimmer. Please do not copy my preset, I worked hard to get it right. To install follow these instructions: Go here: https://reshade.me/ Then choose "directX 10+" version when installing ReShade 3.0.7. The only effects you need to select to download are as follows and those should be the ones active in game with the ReShade menu. I have lots of hotkeys set up so please see the in-game reshade menu for a full list of controls. Once installed, press Shift+F2 to bring up the ReShade menu. Press scroll-lock to toggle the ReShade on and off. Effects enabled: Adaptive Sharpen Ambient Light Bloom and Lens Flares Border Clarity Curves Deband DPX Film Grain HDR Technicolor Technicolor 2 Tonemap Vignette You can choose not to install any others. I would suggest you don't, actually, since I think you get better performance with fewer installed. Toggle Controls, pressing the numberpad buttons won't change anything. All ReShade 3.0's controls are remappable with the in-game ReShade menu: Sharpen - 5 Film grain - 3 Cinematic Letterboxing - 0 Ambient Light - 4 Bloom and lens flares - 6 Bootleg helmet - 9 Tonemap (for darkening, richer colors) - 1 Snow-dimmer (Techinicolor) - 2 Color change toward standard game (techinicolor 2) - 8 If too bright, it's caused by bloom or ambient light. Toggle them off and see. If you are having issues with a certain track/weather, etc. Makes it much faster/easier for to me address the issue by posting what's going on below. Toggle tonemap off for a darker, richer look vs. a lighter and less colorful look. I prefer the lighter one. Hope you like it! Cheers! More pics and vids later!
