Shader used: ReShade
Preset description:
The preset “Plucky Parody” for the 2005 video-game Justice League Heroes, corrects black hues, a main example in the game being Batman’s cowl and cape in cut scenes. It also makes white colors brighter, it also adds more color; bringing more contrast, helping textures visibility. This preset only uses one shader LUT.fx. If one is new to Reshade and need help installing the file in the gallery associated with LUT.fx read the instructions on my user page. https://bit.ly/3z34qf7 The name “Plucky Parody”, comes from the more comedic representation of the heroes and villains in this game. I suppose based on one’s temperament this could be either weirdly endearing or endlessly infuriating. I find it oddly charming and entertaining. An example, Batman’s vocal tone and delivery here, he comes off as Zapp Brannigan from Futurama or Lando Calrissian from Star Wars, seriously; no fooling. Batman is no more the brooding try hard edge lord, that is more Superman’s personality in this game especially towards the end regarding the conflict with Darkseid; speaking of Darksied just behold his cut scene model linked here: https://bit.ly/3fUJM9O Too funny! He looks like a muppet/puppet, belonging on a show like Fraggle Rock; in specificity he could pass as one of the Gorgs. The game having this more unintended humorous nature with character dialogue, actions, and models, I am surprised it does not have more of a cult following, akin to Mortal Kombat 4/Gold; Jax, Sonya. and Jarek having the more infamous ending dialogue from it. https://bit.ly/2SYh4Ma There are moments in Justice League Heroes that come close to rivaling it, yet unlike MK4/Gold it has been more lost and obscured in time. I rarely see people talk about Justice League Heroes today. It is no longer online. Yet through Archive.org some of the promotional artwork and wallpapers are still available. I thought shaaring links to people who played this game back then, new players, or people who are enthusiastic about DC comics/characters in general would be beneficial in some way; big or small. Enjoy.
